Fusilli with Bacon
I found this on recipezaar and when I saw it I knew with how busy I have been lately I had to try it as it was such a quick no fuss recipe. I did change it slightly just to suit our tastes and I have listed the changes below. This is definitely a great after work fast dinner with great flavoursome results. Ingredients

500g Fusilli
4 Slices bacon, cut into thin strips (I doubled this)
1 Small onion, finely chopped
1 Garlic clove, crushed (I did 3 cloves)
1 Cup frozen green peas
2 Tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Salt and pepper
3/4 Cup cream, I use lite cream
4 Tablespoons Gruyere, grated
Grated Parmesan, to sprinkle over pasta

Method

1. Cook pasta until al dente.

2. Cover and set aside.

3. Cook bacon, onion and garlic in frypan.

4. Cook until bacon is crispy.

5. Stir in cream, peas, gruyere and parsley.

6. Simmer uncovered for 4 minutes.

7. Add cream mixture to pasta.

8. Stir over heat till combined and warmed through.

9. Season to taste.

To Serve: Place in serving bowls sprinkle with Parmesan and garnish with parsley.
